Alright, time for a non gunpla post here. Today is 中秋节, or people here also call it mid-autumn festival. But I just call it “kue bulan”. In Indonesia, ‘kue’ means cake and ‘bulan’ means moon.
Not anything special for me, I worked until 12.30, half day for Saturday. Went home to relax and played some SRW OG. Today’s weather is nice, not hot, not raining, perfect to go out for some refreshing.
Since today is the 15th in the Lunar Calendar, I went to Bugis to pray.
There are street light up for the mid autumn. Many people and lanterns.
There is a revolving giant moon cake at the center where all the walkway intersect.
This is the temple, it’s not crowded at the time I arrived, maybe the weather made them lazy to go out ^_^.
The temple is located near Sunshine Plaza, I just couldn’t resist to go there and take a look at those hobby shops.
After my window shopping, I had my dinner at Parklane wanton noodle, it’s quite famous I think. Big wanton noodle + teh peng for $6.00
When I headed back, it’s already dark. You can see the effect of the street light up better.
The giant moon cake is quite nice.
On my way home, I saw a mooncake promo at a bakery, buy 1 get 1 free. And thus you see this.
Well, that’s all. Happy Mid Autumn ^_^
