Got free time this weekend, started painting my 1/100 overflag.
I don’t own airbrush, so I use tamiya spray instead. The problem is I don’t know where I should spray, got no backyard, no balcony, no spraybooth, so I did the painting by my window >.<. It’s exciting, you will feel the fear of your gunpla parts falling down.
After spraying, I hung all the parts on my desk. You can see that there are CD case holders on my desk, so I can easily hang the parts and let them dry.
here is a close up look. Sprayed TS-4 german grey on it.
Blue tack, used this to tack the small plaplate details for easier painting method.
Take a small amount, and then tack it to the back of the plaplate you want to spray.
After that, tack all the plaplates onto a firm surface, here I use the box of my 1/144 rx78 30th anniversary.
This will make the painting easier, no need to paint one by one.
This 1/100 overflag does come with several long seam lines, especially the legs. So I need to mask the joints before applying tamiya cement to remove the seams. Now have to wait patiently till tomorrow for sanding.
Sorry for the bad lighting in the photos. Will learn to setup a good lighting next time ^_^
